I am a scientist and have worked in various universities in the UK as a researcher. I wanted to do this blog because I believe that it’s only through top-quality biomedical research that we’re going to get to the bottom of ME/CFS, and get treatments that work.
I’ve had ME on and off for many years and am currently out of commission, but nevertheless good for blogging. I am a coughty-something year old woman and live in the South-West of England. For the purposes of this blog, my name is Zonko – a word I chose at random to set up the site, can’t remove, and now find is the name of the proprietor of the joke shop near Hogwarts. Nose-biting teacup, anyone?
I offer a new moneysaving tip each week and you donate part of any saving direct to biomedical research charities
Grand total raised is £11,174 as of this week; £7,169 MERUK and £4,005 RRF, including all Justgiving pages and offline donations direct to charities. Keep on giving!
